MU News | Director Xu Yun of the Management Committee and Deputy Secretary of Working Committee of the CCP Visits MU Group

On November 7, Xu Yun, Director of the High-tech Zone Management Committee and Deputy Secretary of Working Committee of the CCP, along with his delegation, visited MU Group for an inspection. MU Group’s President, Tom Tang, and Financial Director, Amenda Weng, accompanied the delegation.

The visit began with a tour of the showroom and office area, followed by a discussion session.

President Tom Tang provided an overview of the company’s operations, market expansion, business model, and future plans. MU Group serves leading global retailers, world-renowned brand customers, and Fortune Global 500 companies, providing a range of value-added services of extreme cost performance, including product R&D and design, procurement services and management, product inspection and quality control, and international logistics coordination. In a large, fragmented, and highly competitive international trade industry, each company has its share of market space and growth potential. We commit ourselves to promoting Chinese products around the world and training professionals in this trade, aiming to become a “Foxconn of foreign trade” by achieving large-scale production and talent training. The export of daily goods is a significant highlight of Ningbo’s foreign trade, demonstrating resilience in counter-cyclical conditions. Despite intense competition in major industries such as automobiles, mobile phones, and air conditioning, where dominant players pursue high-level competition, MU Group remains optimistic about the potential of Chinese small-commodity exports.

Additionally, Amenda Weng expressed suggestions for accelerating the tax rebate process, improving its efficiency, and recognizing cross-border e-commerce companies as high-tech enterprises.

Director Xu responded to MU Group’s suggestions and encouraged everyone to maintain strong confidence and determination. He urged the team to actively explore the market, seize opportunities in digital transformation, and empower international trade with digital intelligence. By fostering business model and operational innovations, the company can cultivate new momentum for international trade, enhancing its core competitiveness in the global market. He also emphasized that departments and communities should strengthen their service orientation, engaging with enterprises sincerely and attentively. This involves listening carefully to company needs and addressing practical concerns, such as talent recruitment, housing, and employment, to continuously improve the business environment.

Office Director Yu Yang, Secretary Zhang Ling of Juxian Street, and Deputy Director Xu Zhonghua of the Economic Development Bureau also accompanied the visit.
