Embracing the cold in the midst of winter. In the auspicious day of the 8th day of the twelfth lunar month (Laba Festival), which also marks the commemoration of the enlightenment of Gautama Buddha, the Group organized colleagues from Ningbo and Yiwu to go to Tiantong Temple and Linshan Temple for New Year blessings. This marks the twelfth consecutive year of organizing such an event.
Tiantong Temple, nestled among peaks, and peaks surrounding the temple, emanates a tranquil and distant atmosphere in the winter. The chanting of scriptures echoes, purifying the soul. With blessings and anticipation for the new year, colleagues devoutly pay their respects. Holding banners with slogans like “To Be No.1” and “100-Day Struggle”, MUers ascend along the central axis. The halls and pavilions are connected by long corridors, and every blade of grass and tree exudes a buddhist mood.
After a group photo, colleagues from Yiwu stroll slowly inside Linshan Temple, appreciating the architectural charm of buildings such as the Shakya ManiHall, the Earth Store Bodhisattva Hall, and the Main Hall of Linshan Temple, while learning about the historical origins of this patriotic education base. Drinking a bowl of “Laba porridge”, believed to bring blessings and wisdom while warding off disasters, they pray for a smooth Dragon Year, where everything has been completed as “full” as the “porridge”.
Amidst the pine-lined path, they walk, feeling the essence of “MU in Sports”. Reflected in the pagoda, wishes are made at the ancient temple, hoping to overcome challenges and obstacles during the “100-Day Struggle”. Filled with infinite expectations and love for the future, sincere blessings are extended to all colleagues, hoping that everyone dares to dream, strives for their goals, and realizes their dreams. Heartfelt wishes are also extended to MU Group, hoping she continues to forge ahead in the new two decades and aims to be No.1.
